As an organisation we understand that aged care is not a one size fits all approach; this is reflected in our strategy ‘Your Life. Your Way.’ As you begin your journey with us you will see first-hand that these are not just words on a page. We work each and every day to live by our strategy and deliver to people in our care ‘as normal a life as possible’, which means something different to each of us.
Residential Care when a client chooses to make a Synovum Care Centre their new home. There are two main types of residential aged care available Low Care and High Care.
Traditionally, respite is seen as an opportunity for carers to have a break – the break may be needed so they can rest, focus on their own health or to see to other personal matters.
Home Care also referred to as Community Care, Package Care, Funded Care or Private Care.
We currently provide funded and private home care to clients in our local communities who are not ready to move into residential aged care and require assistance and support to stay in their own homes longer.
Traditionally day care programs for the elderly are available restricted days and hours with little flexibility to accommodate everybody’s needs and family arrangements. Our day care program is unique in that is designed, at the time of your visit, with your specific needs in mind.
